Foyer - Entry Hall
This photo was taken before the artwork was placed that will be between the wall sconces, but you can see how the adjustable recessed ligh fixtures will accent the art while the sconces on either side provide general lighting for the space.
We had the challenge of illuminating this space without the ability to recess into the ceiling because it is solid concrete; we used the one point of power that existed in the ceiling to run this high-voltage low profile rail lighting system; positioned over the furniture arrangements and along the perimeter of the room gave us the effect the homeowner was looking for.
Living Room - From Other SideHallwayFamily Room
Although this Family Room photo was taken before the space was completed (built-in cabinetry left and right of the fireplace and plastic removed from the furniture) it shows the curved high-voltage rail lighting system we used to effectively illuminate the room. As described for the Living Room photos, in this area we also only had one existing point of power in the concrete ceiling to run the lighting; the sinuous curves locate the lighting over the furniture arrangements as well as providing a casual feel to this space.
