With a residence and property this stunning it is impossible to take a bad photo; the lighting helps create the visual dimension and beauty.

Exterior From CabanaExterior From Cabana

The use of many layers of lighting in the Exterior (fixtures shining up on columns from the front, fixtures shining down on columns from inside the cabana, landscape lighting and wall mounted decorative light fixtures) makes this residence at night a beautiful dramatic masterpiece.

Front ExteriorFront Exterior

Although this photo was shot during the day when the lighting can not be appreciated for the beauty it provides, the other photos shot from the back side of the house helps communicate the vision.

This photo shows the grand hanging chandelier at the exterior covered entry as well as the wall mounted decorative light fixtures mounted on either side of the front opening; as I mentioned you can not appreciate the drama of the lighting because this photo was taken during the day, however there are additional recessed light fixtures at all four corners of the covered entry that shine down on the limestone flooring providing further depth and texture.

Foyer - Right SideFoyer - Right Side

As you view the interior photos of this spectacular residence the decorative hanging and wall mounted light fixtures are an integral aspect of the beauty; all hand blown glass from Italy and true works of art in their own right!

Foyer DomeFoyer Dome

The hand painted mural ceiling of the dome in the Foyer is illuminated during the day with the use of clearstory windows that brings in natural light, while at night linear lighting hidden in a channel around the perimeter (just above the wood moulding) gives a wash of light on the dome along with the gorgeous hanging chandelier; this is truly a Grand Foyer!

Living Room - Left SideLiving Room - Left Side

The Family Room, with its imported stone Fireplace, also has a mural painted on the ceiling that would rival Michelangelo; the three Italian hand blown glass and gold chandeliers help uplight the painted ceiling while providing an elegant feel to the space.

The rustic Powder Room has a "magic" faucet that comes on when you put your hand under it; there is a sensor that is activated when you put your hands near it; 21st century in a traditional Italian style home.

Casino BarCasino Bar

The Casino bar main countertop and paneled front are of solid onyx, which we illuminated from behind with a very simple light source that gives an extremely dramatic effect.

TheaterTheater

Although the style of this residence is traditional Italian the Theater is an homage to 1920s Hollywood; very elegant, yet state of the art and comfortable for any period movie viewing.

This Powder Room is home to a beautiful hand etched glass sink that we illuminated from below with a very simple yet effective light source; this photo does not capture the drama it creates.

Combining recessed and decorative ceiling mount lighting in Her Closet is an effective way to light the space; who would not want to dress in this stunning space!

Although the contractor was caught in this photo (oops!), it shows the beautiful make-up area for Her; wall sconces mounted on the mirror along with recessed lighting to shine down on the counter nicely illuminates this area.

Master ShowerMaster Shower

It took many months to install all of the mosaic tile in this Master Shower fit for a king; the recessed lights have built in exhaust fan vents and there is a skylight in the dome (partially seen) that makes the tile work shimmer and shine.
